Do you ever notice how many Lexington billboards are ads for personal injury lawyers?

Clearly, the logic is that if you are in a car accident it will hopefully happen within view of their smiling face while you’re waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

The problem is you don’t earn name recognition with billboards. It’s a passive medium. But I digress.

My point is a big reason why you see so many different lawyers using billboards isn’t necessarily because it works, but because that’s what their competitors are doing.

Back in the days of yellow pages ads, that was their primary sales pitch.

“Your competitor’s ad is this size. You want yours to be bigger, don’t you?”
